AI College Prep Academy

Summer Institute · 3 weeks · in-person · Chicago · Summer 2028

The flagship program. Three weeks. One working AI agent.

Eight students per track. Five tracks. Daily 1:1 attention with a senior engineer + a practicing PhD. By Week 3, every student ships a working agent at a personal URL — paired with a finished Common App essay draft.

Three weeks · One working AI agent

The structure of the three weeks.

Week 01

Foundations (shared across all 5 tracks)

All 50 students together. Build literacy with prompt engineering, RAG, and agent orchestration before splitting into domain work.

  • Prompt engineering and evaluation harnesses
  • Retrieval-augmented generation — vector DBs, chunking, hybrid search
  • Agent loops, tool use, and the Model Context Protocol
  • Reading and debugging code with AI as a co-pilot

Week 02

Domain deep-dive (split by track)

Tracks split. Each cohort works directly with their PhD lead on the data, workflows, and ethical guardrails specific to that profession.

  • Track-specific datasets and evaluation rubrics
  • Domain-aware prompts, system instructions, and guardrails
  • Compliance and ethics framing (medical, legal, financial)
  • Capstone scoping and architecture review with PhD lead

Week 03

Build, ship, and admissions coaching

Build the capstone, ship it to a public URL, and layer 1:1 college admissions coaching on top throughout the week.

  • Capstone build sprints with daily code review
  • Demo day rehearsal — slides, talk track, live demo polish
  • 1:1 college essay coaching across three sessions
  • Mock interview, narrative architecture, finished Common App essay draft

Demo day

Every student ships a working agent at a personal URL.

On the final Saturday, every student presents their capstone to invited faculty and practitioners. The slide deck, the talk track, and the live demo are the artifacts your child carries into every college interview that fall.

Selective by design

Ready to give your child the agentic-AI advantage?

Selective admissions for the inaugural Summer 2028 cohort. We expect a 40 to 60 percent admit rate. Rolling applications through Spring 2028.
